Audi is planning to introduce a hot version of the new S3 Sedan, the RS3, and this might be based on the recently unveiled A3 Clubsport Quattro Concept.
The German based automaker Audi will soon introduce a new top of the line version of the A3 Sedan, which will sit above the current S3 and will receive the “RS” moniker. The model in question hasn’t been announced official but according to the guys at Motoring, who have spoken to the Audi Australia product planner, Matthew Dale, the model in question will actually be based on the A3 Clubsport Quattro Concept, as this has been named “a view into the future of the RS”.
The brand new RS3 will come with at least 408 HP and it will most likely get the popular 2.5 liter TFSI turbocharged gasoline engine under its hood, with five cylinders, mated to the 7-speed S Tronic transmission, which will send its power to the Quattro all-wheel drive. The production version of the new RS3 Sedan will also get an aggressive body kit and some tweaks made to the cabin. The vehicle will probably be unveiled this October, during the 2014 Paris Motor Show.
