New details on the upcoming Audi RS3 Sportback have recently ended up onto the web as the model in question will be introduced sometimes next year.
The development of an even hotter version of the Audi S3 hot hatch, the RS3, is no longer a surprise as the model in question has been hinted and rumored several times and it has been even caught on camera by some spy photographers. The newest details on the model in question are coming from the guys at who had the possibility of taking a ride in the brand new vehicle.
According to our source, the RS3 will be lowered by 25 mm compared to the S3 and it will come with wider tracks and the possibility of getting the optional wider front tires. The model will also come with a new six-speed S tronic transmission, along with the standard Quattro all-wheel drive system. The unit found under its hood will be the 2.5 liter five-cylinder, with 360 HP (268 kW). The new RS3 Sportback will be riding on the MQB platform and it will be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just over 4 seconds. The hot hatch should be unveiled at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, next March.
