The German based automaker Audi is planning to introduce its upcoming RS3 top of the line model with an impressive 400 HP under its hood, once it will become available for order.
Audi is already known to have start working on a new top of the line version of the A3 and the model has been already caught on camera by our spy photographers. Now, the new Audi RS3 is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a report, which is saying that the model in question will be coming with an impressive 400 HP (294 kW) squeezed out of the 2.0 liter four-cylinder engine, which has replaced the five-cylinder turbocharged unit.
The same engine is also used on the TT Offroad Concept, which has been officially introduced just a few days ago, during the 2014 Beijing Motor Show. The report is saying that the unit will be connected to a seven-speed S tronic transmission, in the Audi RS3, which will be sending power to the Quattro all-wheel drive system. Rumors are announcing the public debut of the new hot hatch towards the end of the year, in a 5-door Sportback body style, so chances are we will see it in October, during the 2014 Paris Motor Show.
