Audi has recently announced that the new RS5 Cabrio will be launched in the United States in early 2013.
After it was officially presented to the public during the 2012 Paris Motor Show, the Audi RS5 Cabrio is entering our news once again, this time with the German based automaker announcing its U.S. launch. According to the car manufacturer, the new Audi RS5 Cabrio will be launched over-seas in the first quarter of next year, but no official details on its price list have been announced yet. Even so, we know that on its local auto market, the RS5 CAbrio will go on sale for 88,500 euros.
According to the car manufacturer, the Audi RS5 Cabrio is powered by a 4.2 liter FSI engine, which is producing a total output of 450 horsepower and it has a peak torque of 430 Nm, allowing the model to accelerate form 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds. The total output is available, just like in the coupe, at 8,250 rpm and the peak torque between 4,000 and 6,000 rpm. The top speed of the Audi RS5 Cabrio has been limited to 250 km/h but it can be raised to 280 km/h.
