The German based automaker Audi is planning to launch its RS5 Cabrio in the United States quite soon.
Even if there is no official word on the Audi RS5 Cabrio going to the United States from the company just yet, the guys at and they’ve even got a document which is highlighting this fact, which can be seen just below this paragraph.
Sadly we don’t have any other details on the Audi RS5 Cabrio which will be launched in the United States, but this version is expected to share the same engine with the Audi RS5 Coupe, which means that the model will be powered by a 4.2 liter handmade V8 engine, developing a total output of 444 horsepower, with a peak torque of 430 Nm (317 lb-ft). The unit is mated, in the Coupe, to a seven-speed S-tronic transmission, which is sending power to the Quattro all-wheel drive system.
The Sport Package is being offered as an optional on the RS5 Coupe and this is adding features like the dynamic ride control, sports exhaust, dynamic steering and 20-inch rotor-design alloy wheels. The model can also be fitted with the upgraded cruise control system, which is using radar sensors in order to control distance from traffic in front of the vehicle at speeds between 19 mph and 155 mph.
