Audi has recently introduced the new RS5 Cabrio to Australia, where the model is now available for order from 175,900 AUD.
The new Audi RS5 Cabrio has recently joined its solid roof brother in Australia, the RS5 Coupe, which is now 5,500 AUD cheaper than before, being priced at 155,900 AUD. Prices for the drop-top Audi RS5 Cabrio have been set at 175,900 AUD and the model is succeeding the previous gen of the RS4 Cabrio, which used to cost 187,500 AUD back in 2007.
The Audi RS5 Cabrio is taking its power from the same 4.2 liter naturally aspirated V8 petrol engine like the Coupe, which is producing a total output of 331 kW, at 8,250 rpm, and it has a peak torque of 430 Nm, available between 4,000 and 6,000 rpm. The RS5 Cabrio is 205 kg heavier than the Coupe and the 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes 4.9 seconds, while the average fuel consumption stands at 10.7L / 100km.
The unit is mated to a 7-speed S tronic dual clutch automatic transmission, which is sending power to the Quattro all-wheel drive system, distributing 40:60 front to rear in normal driving conditions, but it can reach 15:85 if required. The model can be fitted with a sport suspension with dynamic ride control, sports exhaust system, 20-inch alloy wheels and some other tweaks.
