According to the German based automaker, prices for the brand new Audi RS5 Cabrio in the United States have been set at 77,900 USD, 9,000 USD more than the regular Coupe version. If you live in the U.S. and you’re planning to get such a ride, you should know that the first units will make their way into the country, at the company’s dealers, in April. The RS5 Cabrio has LED light strips for the headlights and taillights, Fine Nappa Leather, ceramic brake package (6,000 USD) and more goodies.
Power to the RS5 Cabrio is provided by the 4.2 liter V8 naturally aspirated engine, producing a total output of 444 HP (450 PS) at 8,250 rpm and 318 lb-ft of torque (430 Nm), available between 4,000 and 6,000 rpm. The unit is mated to a seven-speed S tronic transmission, sending power to the Quattro all-wheel drive system. The Audi RS5 Cabrio can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.9 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h). The speed limiter can be lifted and the model will then reach 174 mph (280 km/h). The fuel consumption stands at 22 mpg US (10.7 L / 100 km).
