Audi RS5 gets supercharged by McChip image

The aftermarket specialists at McChip-DKR have recently pulled the wraps off their latest creation, an upgrade program for the already impressive Audi RS5.

Good news for those of you who are owners of the Audi RS5 and are looking to tune up your rides because there is now a possibility to order McChip-DKR’s package. According to the tuning company, this has been called the MC5XX and ordering this package in stage one means getting a supercharger, a software optimization and an intercooler, all of these from 19,999 EUR. These upgrades are allowing the 4.2 liter V8 engine to generate an extra 100 HP (73 kW) and 120 Nm of torque (88 lb-ft).

Stage two is adding the additional software tweaks along with the new sports exhaust system and the total output has increased by 130 HP (95 kW) and 135 Nm (99 lb-ft) of torque, to a total of 580 HP (426 kW) and 565 Nm (416 lb-ft) of torque. Last but not least, there is a stage three upgrade available, which is revising the compressor ratio and enabling the increase in manifold pressure. This leads to a total of 600 HP (441 kW) and 590 Nm (435 lb-ft) of torque, for a total of 26,999 EUR.
