Audi has recently released an official teaser image with the RS5 which will most likely compete in the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb on the 12th of August.
Even if the Audi RS5 which will compete in this year’s Pikes Peak International Hill Climb on the 12th of August has been teased, the German based automaker doesn’t want to bring it into the spotlights just yet so we don’t know any official details regarding its performance, engine, acceleration, top speed, fuel consumption or CO2 emissions, but one thing is for sure, it will feature a white exterior with some red, grey and black body stripes.
In order to find out more details on the Audi RS5 for Pikes Peak we will have to wait for the competition to “open its gates” on the 12th of August but as a quick reminder, the standard Audi RS5 is getting a 4.2 liter V8 engine which is producing a total output of 444 horsepower (450 PS / 331 kW) and it has a peak torque of 430 Nm (317 lb-ft). The engine is mated to a seven-speed S tronic transmission which is powering the Quattro all-wheel drive system, enabling the model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds before reaching an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h. The Audi RS5 is priced at 68,900 USD.
