Audi has released the very first official images with a new version of the RS6 Avant, named the RS6 Avant Plus.
After announcing its plans to introduce the Audi RS6 Avant Plus later on this year, the German based automaker is now placing the model into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of the first official images. The Audi RS6 Avant Plus is the third “Plus” model made by Audi, after the TT RS Plus and the R8 V10 Plus. The new version of the popular vehicle is expected to save some weight compared to the regular RS6 Avant and also get a different setup for the suspension.
The Audi RS6 Avant Plus’ most import part is found under its hood, where the same engine from the standard RS6 Avant is resting. Thanks to some tweaks, the 560 HP (412 kW) have been transformed into a total output of 608 HP (447 kW). Unfortunately this is all we have for the moment on the Audi RS6 Avant Plus and in order to find out more on the model we will have to wait for the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, where the vehicle is expected to make its public debut.
