The Audi RS6 Sedan has been recently rendered and the image posted above is showing us what the model might look like if the carmaker decides to put it into production.
The German based automaker Audi hasn’t announced anything yet on a possible sedan version of the brand new RS6 but the model might hit the market over the following years considering the fact that the competition is quite drastic in the segment, with models like the BMW M5, the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG or the Jaguar XFR-S. The image posted above has been provided by theophiluschin.com and it’s showing us a first glimpse into the model.
If it will indeed hit the market, the Audi RS6 Sedan will get the same engine under its hood as the RS6 Avant, the 4.0 liter twin-turbo V8, replacing the old 5.2 liter naturally aspirated unit, which is producing a total output of 560 HP (412 kW) and it has a peak torque of 700 Nm (516 lb-ft). Power will also be sent to the Quattro all-wheel drive system through the same eight-speed tiptronic transmission. The Avant can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds before reaching a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).
