Our spy photographers have managed to catch the facelifted version of the Audi A1, along with the new S1, on camera, while they were being tested in cold weather.
Recent reports are saying that the updated version of the Audi A1 will be officially presented to the public during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, in March, along with its hotter version, the new S1. The prototype pictured below is wearing a lot of camouflage but judging by its large alloy wheels and by the quad exhaust system, chances are that this is the S1 and not just an updated version of the current A1.
The brand new Audi S1 is believed to gain some of the styling cues of its larger brother, the S3, with some similar front and rear bumpers, front grille, headlights, taillights and much more. As far as the engine goes, chances are that the new S1 will receive a petrol burner with more than 200 HP, which will be sent to the Quattro permanent all-wheel drive system. Additional details on the facelifted Audi A1 or on the S1 are limited for the moment and will be announced in a couple of months, during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
