Audi S3 Cabrio by MTM announced for Geneva image

MTM has announced its plans of introducing the new modified Audi S3 Cabrio at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, on the 3rd of March.

The aftermarket specialists from MTM are getting ready for the 2015 Geneva Motor Show and with the automotive event just around the corner and opening next Tuesday, the company has recently introduced a modified version of the Audi S3 Cabrio. The compact drop-top signed by MTM has received some interesting items such as the carbon fiber trim in the cabin, the carbon fiber front seat backs, the carbon fiber engine cover, the carbon fiber side mirror caps, the high performance braking system or the unique alloy wheels which should be enough to allow it to stand out from the regular version.

If you thought that the modifications made by MTM on the Audi S3 Cabrio will stop here, think again, because the model in question has also received a modified engine under its hood. The 2.0 liter TSI four-cylinder unit has been equipped with an MTM Engine Management Unit, with a new turbocharger and with a sports exhaust system. thanks to these modifications, the engine is now capable of producing a total output of 426 HP (313 kW) and it has a peak torque of 530 Nm (390 lb-ft), being able to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 5 seconds, before reaching an electronically limited top speed of 270 km/h (167 mph).
