The first rendering with a new body style of the Audi S3, the S3 Coupe, has recently hit the web and it might provide us with a first look into a possible future version of the model.
Audi has no current plans of introducing a two-door coupe version of the S3 but this might change over the next following years considering the fact that BMW is offering a 2-Series Coupe, with the M235i current range topper and an M2 in the works. The image posted above is a rendering which has been created by Theophilus Chin and we have to admit that the product looks quite appealing.
The Audi S3 is already available for order in several parts of the globe, in Sedan or Cabrio versions, and all of them are taking their power from a 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, which is producing a total output of 300 HP (221 kW) and it has a peak torque of 380 Nm (280 lb-ft). Thanks to these “figures”, the 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration is made in just 5.3 seconds in the S3 Sedan and top speed has been limited to 250 km/h (155 mph). The company is currently planning an S3 Sedan Plus, which will fill the gap between the current S3 and the upcoming RS3.
