The aftermarket specialists at ABT have recently upgraded an Audi S3, which has received some interesting updates which are making it more powerful.
According to the tuning company, the Audi S3 in question has received an upgrade for the 2.0 liter TFSI four-cylinder unit, which is made out of a proprietary engine control. The total output produced now stands at 370 HP (272 kW) and the peak torque at 460 Nm (339 lb-ft), compared to the standard 300 HP (221 kW) and 380 Nm (280 lb-ft) of torque.
Thanks to these upgrades, the Audi S3, modified by ABT, can now accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.6 seconds, making it 0.5 seconds quicker than the standard car. The top speed achieved has been raised to 265 km/h (165 mph) from the previous 250 km/h (155 mph). Besides these modifications, the ABT has also fitted this Audi S3 with new wheels, ranging from 18- to 20-inch in size, wrapped in sports tires. Other minor upgrades are also available for the model. Sadly there are no pricing details released on the modified premium hot hatch but these will probably be announced over the following weeks.
