The aftermarket specialists at ABT Sportsline have recently pulled the wraps off their latest creation, a new upgrade package for the Audi S6 Avant, which is now known as the AS6-R.
According to the tuning company, the Audi S6 Avant in question has been equipped with a stainless steel exhaust system, with carbon fiber air intake surrounds, carbon fiber front fender vents, carbon fiber mirror caps, new side skirts, a rear bumper insert, carbon fiber rear spoiler and 21-inch alloy wheels, amongst others. These changes should be enough to make the S6 Avant look even more appealing and if they’re not, you must know that some performance tweaks are also available.
ABT Sportsline says that the 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 engine, found under the hood of the rebranded S6 Avant, has been equipped with an optimized ECU and with new turbochargers. The result is spectacular because the total output of the car now stands at 600 HP (441 kW) and 750 Nm of torque (553 lb-ft), which actually represents 180 HP (132 kW) and 200 Nm of torque (147 lb-ft) more than the standard version. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes just 3.9 seconds and top speed has been electronically limited to 310 km/h (192 mph). No pricing details have been announced yet.
