The German based automaker Audi has recently announced the starting price of the SQ5 TDI in the United Kingdom, which has been set at 43,870 GBP.
According to the car manufacturer, the cheapest version of the Audi SQ5 TDI can now be ordered in the United Kingdom, starting from 43,870 GBP, but don’t get your hopes too high because the first deliveries of the crossover will start in spring, 2013. The very first diesel-powered “S” model in the Audi lineup has been officially presented to the public earlier this year, during the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The carmaker says that the Audi SQ5 is able to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.1 seconds and its two turbos aren’t just providing the proper operations but they play a huge role in making the 3.0 six-cylinder diesel engine’s total output, which goes all the way up to 313 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque, available between 1,450 and 2,800 rpm. The unit is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission which is “moving” all the wheels thanks to the Quattro AWD system. Top speed stands at 155 mph and the model can return 39.2 mpg.
