The Q3 crossover is no longer the base option for the SUV range at Audi, thumb but that doesn’t mean it won’t get some love from Ingolstadt as engineers and designers worked to refresh it.
The 2017 Audi Q3 is an intermediate step as the Internet rumor mill already knows the company is diligently preparing the second generation Q3, order but until that happens the automaker will go to new strides in order to keep the customers happy and deliveries rolling. The second smallest crossover in the lineup has a slightly rehashed front fascia with a more aggressive front end for the sport trim packing bigger air inlets. Also, tadalafil the corporate singleframe grille gets a stone grey finish – unlike the blade located beneath the center inlet which is color-coordinated with the body. The model year also sees the demise of the “Tundra Brown” color, Audi adding in its place the new “Camouflage Green.”
The new S line exterior package comes with diamond-pattern inserts on the air inlets, as well as other distinguishing features such as the new front skirt and the high-gloss black glaze of the radiator grille and air inlets. There’s also a new Q3 S line competition special edition which builds on the S line exterior package and adds black accents to the door trim strips, side mirror caps, roof rails, and window slot trim, as well as a glossy black appearance for the roof-mounted spoiler and the lower area of the rear bumper. There are also new 19-inch glossy-black wheels and “S line” badges on the front fenders. The cockpit of this particular version adds sport seats with lumbar support as standard equipment, clad in black leather and fabric and with “S line” logo embossed in the center. There’s also the option of using the Alcantara & Fine Nappa leather interior, as well as “S line” logos and stainless steel finishes or a flat-bottomed sports steering wheel covered in leather.
The Q3 S line competition also boasts among the standard equipment the S line sport suspension and the Audi drive select system – and it appears that democratization is in order as the company has said the version will be available on all powertrain options, not just the top specifications. The model will reach dealerships this fall and prices will remain the same, the base Q3 costing €30,100. The new Q3 S line competition meanwhile kicks off at €33,050 and we’re expecting the upgraded Q3 line to show up in full during the Paris Motor Show.
