Audi TT, new entry-level version introduced image

A new entry-level version for the Audi TT has been introduced recently by the German based automaker, as this will cost from 32, 100 EUR for the Coupe and 34,500 EUR for the Roadster.

The third generation of the Audi TT is now becoming more affordable as the car company has introduced a new entry-level version. This is available for both the Coupe and the Roadster and it is decreasing the price by 2,900 euros thanks to the engine, which is now less powerful than the one used in the previous entry-level model.

“Even the basic version of the sports car comes equipped with all the strengths of the new model generation – a purist, sporty character, systematic lightweight construction, striking design and dynamic suspension. Nor are there any constraints on equipment: The sport seats with integral head restraints are fitted as standard, along with progressive steering and the Audi virtual cockpit”, says the carmaker in its official press release.

The new Audi TT generation, in its entry-level model, is now using a 1.8 liter TFSI engine, which is capable of producing a total output of 180 HP (132 kW) and it has a peak torque of 250 Nm (184 lb-ft). This is connected to a 6-speed manual transmission or to a 6-speed optional S Tronic. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the Coupe needs 6.9s with the manual and 7s with the automatic. Top speed stands at 241 km/h (150 mph). The Roadster will run in 7.2s to 100 km/h with the manual and 7.3s with the automatic and reach 237 km/h (147 mph). Deliveries of the car will begin in the second half of 2015.
