Audi has released a new set of images with the new TT Roadster, a marketing scheme which will be maintained in the future.
After being officially introduced back in 2014, the new Audi TT Roadster is being placed into the spotlights once again these days, with the help of the carmaker, which has released a new set of appealing images. The photos posted below have been taken in the Alps where the open-top version of the TT has shined and if you happen to be a fan of the vehicle, chances are some of these images will become your next background.
The 2016 Audi TT Coupe and the 2016 Audi TT Roadster have been officially presented to the public at the Los Angeles Auto Show, in late last year. The two models are coming with features such as the LED lighting, the 12.3-inch display system in the digital instrument cluster, Audi Drive select system, Quattro all-wheel drive, Band and Olufsen audio system with the 12 speakers and a 14-channel amplifier and several other goodies.
Under the hood, the two models are sharing the same 2.0 liter TFSI four-cylinder turbocharged engine, which is capable of producing a total output of 220 HP (164 kW) and 349 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque, while in the TTS, the unit is good for 292 HP (218 kW) and 379 Nm (280 lb-ft) of torque. The unit can be connected to an optional DSG transmission and it has a launch control system, available through the drive select.
