Audi has recently announced the production star of the 2015 TT Roadster at its Hungarian facility.
The 2015 Audi TT Roadster has recently started its production at the Gyr plant, in Hungary, as the company has recently announced. This has become the fourth model produced at this facility and it is coming with a stylish exterior design, a fabric roof, which is power folding and it can close in 10 seconds and several other tweaks.
“The start of production of the new Audi TT Roadster underscores Audi Hungaria’s position in our worldwide production network. The Gyr site makes a significant contribution to our growth and strengthens our international competitiveness”, said Rupert Stadler, the Audi CEO.
The brand new Audi TT Roadster is coming with an engine lineup which includes the 2.0 liter TFSI with its 230 HP (169 kW) and 370 Nm (273 lb-ft) of torque, the 2.0 liter TDI with 184 HP (135 kW) and 380 Nm (280 lb-ft) of torque and the 2.0 liter TFSI turbocharged producing 310 HP (228 kW) and 380 Nm (280 lb-ft) of torque, in the TT S. This version is allowing the model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.9 seconds before reaching the 250 km/h (155 mph) electronically limited top speed.
