The German based automaker Audi has recently announced that the all-new TT RS Plus has been launched in the United Kingdom, where the model has a starting price of 48,945 pounds.
According to the car manufacturer, the Audi TT RS Plus is coming with 20 horsepower and 15 Nm (11 lb-ft) more than the standard TT RS, along with carbon fiber reinforced polymer mirrors, aluminum exterior accents, sound volume controlled exhaust with black tips and a fresh set of 19-inch TT RS alloy wheels with red accents. The Audi TT RS is also getting features like the Audi Music Interface iPod connection, Bluetooth and satellite navigation, along with many other interesting features.
As we said above, the TT RS Plus is still powered by the 2.5 liter five-cylinder TFSI unit, which is now developing a total output of 360 horsepower and it has a peak torque of 465 Nm (343 l-ft). The engine can be mated to a manual or an S tronic twin clutch transmission, with the latter allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 4.1 seconds in the coupe, before reaching a top speed of 174 mph (280 km/h). The first deliveries of the Audi TT RS Plus will start this summer in the UK and the coupe will be available from GBP48,945 while the roadster will start at 52,265 pounds.
