Audi has recently pulled the wraps off its latest creation, the TTS competition, which coming with some interesting updates and in just 500 units.
According to the German based automaker, the Audi TTS competition is a special edition version of the TT which has been produced in order to celebrate the regular model’s production milestone, achieving 500,000 units. The limited edition will be available in 500 units and it will be finished in either Imola yellow or Nimbus gray. The Roadster will also receive a Black or Gray top, a five-arm rotor design and 225/35 tires, amongst others.
The cabin of the Audi TTS competition has been equipped with the Impulse leather package and we can also see some yellow contrast stitching, a leather wrapped multi-function steering wheel, rear parking sensors, xenon headlights and more. Power to the model is being provided by a 2.0 liter TFSI engine, which is producing a total output of 272 HP (200 kW) and 350 Nm of torque (258 lb-ft), mated to a six-speed S tronic transmission. The 0 to 100 km/h in the coupe takes 5.3 seconds (5.5 with the manual transmission) and 5.5 seconds in the Roadster. The Audi TTS competition will roll off the assembly line in October. No pricing details are known for the moment.
