Australians can now order the 2015 A6 Allroad as the model in question has arrived in the Pacific country.
The pricing of the Audi A6 Allroad has been dropped by the car manufacturer in Australia by 6,000 AUD in order to bring it closer to the sedan. The model in question is available for order from 111,900 AUD, plus on-road costs, and it is bringing the revised styling, the new equipment and a new engine under its hood. It has been based on the Avant and it is offering “off-road capabilities”, as the carmaker is stating. The changes seen on the standard A6 range are mirrored by the model in question which is bringing the revised front bumper with new air intakes, LED headlights, single-frame grille, LED taillights and several other tweaks.
Some of the features found on it include the 8.0-inch MMI navigation plus with touchpad, the 10-speaker stereo system, the digital radio reception, dual USB inputs, electric tailgate, high-res driver info screen, smart key entry and push-button start, 3-spoke sports steering wheel with paddle shifters, Milano leather, electric front seat adjustment with driver’s side memory, electric folding side mirrors with auto dimming, rearview camera, front and rear parking sensors, quad-zone climate control, adaptive air suspension, eight airbags, active lane assist and 19-inch alloy wheels, amongst others. Power is being provided by a 3.0 liter turbo diesel V6 engine, which is capable of putting down 160 kW and 500 Nm of torque. From 0 to 100 km/h, the A6 Allroad needs 7.3s and the average fuel consumption stands at 5.6L / 100km.
