Volvo Australia has announced the official price of the 2015 XC90 First Edition, which will be set at 120,000 AUD, plus on-road costs, when it will become available for order.
According to the car manufacturer, the 2015 Volvo XC90 First Edition will become available at midnight, on the 4th of September, on vovlocars.com and it will be wearing a 120,000 AUD price tag, plus on-road costs, which will basically make it the most expensive Volvo ever sold in the Pacific country. The current lineup is priced from 69,590 AUD to 75,590 AUD and the V8 version, which is discontinued, used to cost 90,950 AUD.
Volvo will be offering the 2015 XC90 First Edition with the Onyx Black body paint, with the Amber nappa leather interior, with walnut highlights, a charcoal leather dashboard, heated second row of seats, electronically operated third row, heated and cooling front seats and some other tweaks, including the special numbered plates and badges or the 8-spoke 21-inch alloy wheels. In Australia, the XC90 First Edition will get only the T6 petrol unit, with 238 kW and 400 Nm of torque, connected to an 8-speed automatic transmission powering the AWD, while in Europe, the D5 twin turbo, with its 168 kW and 470 Nm of torque will become available too. Only 1,927 units of the model will be produced.
