Audi has brought the new RS4 Avant to Australia where the model has been recently launched.
After making its public debut almost a year ago, during the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, the new Audi RS4 Avant is ending up in our news once again, this time with the German based automaker announcing its arrival in Australia. According to the car manufacturer, the model can be ordered with the Dynamic Sports Package option, which is adding the sports exhaust system or the larger 20-inch wheels, or with the Dynamic Ride Control, if you’re into track days.
Power to the new Audi RS4 Avant is being provided by the same 4.2 liter V8 engine used on the RS5 too, which is producing a total output of 331 kW and it has a peak torque of 430 Nm. The unit is mated to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission, sending power to the standard Quattro all-wheel drive system. The Audi RS4 Avant can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.7 seconds with the help of the launch control and it can reach a top speed of 280 km/h. The Audi RS4 Avant can be yours in Australia starting from 149,400 USD, before on-road charges are being added.
