Audi has recently announced the official starting price of the new RS6 Avant in Australia, where the model will set you back for at least 225, 000 AUD once it will become available for order in October.
The Audi RS6 Avant is powered by a 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 engine, which is producing a total output of 412 kW at 5,700 – 6,600 rpm and it has a peak torque of 700 Nm, available between 1,750 rpm and 5,500 rpm. The model weighs 100 less than its predecessor. The unit is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission which is sending power to the Quattro all-wheel drive, which is helping the model sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds.
The average fuel consumption in the Audi RS6 Avant stand at 9.8 liters every 100 km, thanks to the stop / start system and to the cylinder deactivation technology. Standard features found on the RS6 Avant include the Quattro sports differential, adaptive air suspension, head-up display, panoramic sunroof, electric steering column adjustment, four-zone climate control, satellite navigation system, RS sports seats which can be adjusted electric, LED headlights and 21-incch titanium look alloy wheels. Prices for the model will be set at 225,000 AUD.
