Australia: Ford FG Falcon starts at AU$ 40.000 image

The Australian division of the North American based automaker Ford has just announced the pricing for the FG Falcon Mk II range, with the company bragging about offering the best value for money in the vehicle’s history, with a long list of standard equipment.

“With fresh exterior styling, a host of new features and the latest smart technologies boosting Falcon’s already extensive equipment levels, together with a customer-focused new pricing strategy, it delivers outstanding value for large car buyers and builds on the rich heritage of the Falcon brand”, said Bob Graziano, the president and CEO of Ford Australia.

According to the car manufacturer, the new generation of the model, in the XR6 sports version, comes with a long list of standard features like the 8.0 inch color touch screen multimedia center, USB connection, reverse sensing system, side curtain airbags projector headlamps and 18 inch alloy wheels, among many other things, for the price of AU$ 40.000, coming with an extra value of AU$ 5.500 compared to the previous generation.

Ford says that the luxury-orientated G6E and dynamic focused G6E Turbo will pack satellite navigation system, LED position headlamps, alarm and larger alloy wheels for an added value of AU$ 6.000, while the Falcon Ute models have a value set between AU$ 4.500 and AU$ 6.000.
