Lamborghini has recently announced its plans to introduce the Aventador Roadster to Australia, where the model will be priced from 845,000 AUD.
After it was already launched in several markets across the globe, the newest creation signed by Lamborghini, the Aventador Roadster, is getting ready to arrive in Australia too, but don’t get your hopes too high because the model will be 11 percent more expensive than the Coupe, which means that the starting price of the supercar will be set at 845,000 AUD.
“We have been informed that the ballpark cost of the Roadster is approximately 11 percent more than the coupe”, as the Australian Lamborghini spokesman, Jessica Salmon, told Car Advice.
As a quick reminder, the Lamborghini Aventador Roadster is powered by the 6.5 liter V12 engine, the same one used on the Coupe version too, which is producing the same amount of 690 HP. The unit is mated to a seven-speed automated transmission which is allowing the Lamborghini Aventador Roadster to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 3 seconds, or in 2.9 seconds for the Coupe, before reaching a top speed of 217 mph. The Lamborghini Aventador Roadster is coming with a cylinder deactivation system and with the Stop / Start system. Worldwide deliveries of the Lamborghini Aventador will start in March, 2013.
