U.S.: Lamborghini Aventador Roadster was launched

The Lamborghini Aventador Roadster has been recently launched in the U.S. where the supercar can be bought from USD795,000 plus taxes.

Good news for those of you living in U.S. who are looking into a brand new convertible supercar because the Lamborghini Aventador Roadster has just been launched in the country. According to the Italian based automaker, prices for the Lamborghini Aventador Roadster have been set at 795,000 USD, plus taxes, across the country. But even if you have those kind of money in your bank accounts, don’t get your hopes too high because the Aventador Roadster has been completely sold out worldwide and order books are “busy” until mid-2014.

As a quick reminder, the Lamborghini Aventador Roadster is powered by a 6.5 liter naturally aspirated V12 petrol engine, which is producing a total output of 522 kW and it has a peak torque of 689 Nm. This is enough to allow the supercar to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.0 seconds with its roof either up or down. The unit is mated to the ISR seven-speed automated manual transmission. Fuel consumption stands at 16L / 100km in a combined cycle and CO2 emissions stop at 370 g/km.
