Opel has recently announced the arrival of the Astra OPC in Australia, where the model is now available to its future customers from 42,990 AUD.
After we have written about the Corsa OPC, which was launched in Australia recently, a new model from Opel’s high performance division, the Astra, is now entering our news for the first time. According to the German based automaker, the Opel Astra OPC has been recently launched in Australia. The model is more expensive than its main rivals, like the Focus ST, the Golf GTI or the Megane RS, coming from 42,990 AUD.
The Opel Astra OPC is available in five colors, Arden Blue, Carbon Flash Black, Flaming Yellow, Power Red and Summit White and it’s getting a seven-speaker premium audio system, sat-nav, AUX, USB, Bluetooth, bucket seats, leather upholstery, dual-zone climate control, auto headlights and wipers, alloy pedals an more. The model is powered by a 2.0 liter direct injected turbocharged petrol engine, which is producing a total output of 206 kW and 400 Nm of torque. This is enough to allow the model to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.0 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 250 km/h.
