The Australian police has just received a brand new Volvo S60 Polestar, which is probably one of the most desired Volvo vehicles by enthusiasts.
Being a police officer in Australia has just become better as the police department has been gifted with a brand new Volvo S60 Polestar. This is coming after last year’s S60 T5 gift, but the newest vehicle won’t be used as a first response car because it will serve as a support vehicle. In Australia, the model has a starting price of 109,950 AUD so this is quite an expensive gift to make.
As you may recall, the Volvo S60 Polestar has a 3.0 liter turbocharged six-cylinder gasoline burner under its hood, which is producing a total output of 350 HP (257 kW), at 5,700 rpm, and it has more than 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) of torque, available between 2,800 and 4,750 rpm. The unit is sending power to the Polestar-tweaked Haldex four-wheel drive system through a 6-speed automatic transmission. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration takes 4.9 seconds and top speed has been electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph). The S60 Polestar weighs in at 1,684 kg (3,712 lbs) and it’s riding on 19-inch wheels, wrapped in 235/40 Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.
