The famous German publication Auto Motor und Sport has recently named the Ferrari 458 Spider the “Best Imported Cabriolet”.
According to the guys at Auto Motor und Sport, the Ferrari 458 Spider is the best drop-top available in Germany which isn’t produce locally. The “decision” has been actually taken by the publication’s readers who have voted the “Best Imported Cabriolet” in the “Best Cars” poll. This is the 15th time when a Ferrari convertible is winning the award. The prize has been handed over to the company’s CEO, Amedeo Felisa, by the car magazine.
As a quick reminder, the Ferrari 458 Spider has been officially presented to the public back in 2011, during the Frankfurt Motor Show. The 458 Spider is powered by a 4.5 liter V8 engine which is producing a total output of 570 HP at 9,000 rpm and it has a peak torque of 398 lb-ft, available at 6,000 rpm. The unit is mated to a dual-clutch seven-speed F1 transmission which is allowing the supercar to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.4 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 198 mph.
