From the automakers, Ford reported sales up 7% in June, GM announced a 16% increase, Toyota’s sales jumped 54% and Honda reached an increase of about 49%. Auto sales are recovering after two years of low sales, as customers are finally beginning to replace their old cars. If lower gas prices and stabilized home prices may bring a rise in the auto sales, automakers also have to take into consideration the fact that softening economy and high unemployment may bring the expected sales number down.
AutoNation’s bold leadership transforms the auto retail industry, offering sales and service processes focused on the customer and a superior automotive retail experience. AutoNation, America’s largest automotive retailer, owns and operates 260 new auto franchises that sell 32 brands in 15 states.
