A staggering Azure Blue finished McLaren P1 has been recently delivered to McLaren Newport Beach, so the “event” couldn’t have gone by unnoticed.
The McLaren P1 is ending up in our news once again, this time finished in Azure Blue, with the help of Tyler Lee from CarNinja, who has had the awesome opportunity to take some photos of this impressive hybrid supercar. The model in question has been delivered to McLaren Newport Beach. As you may recall, the McLaren P1 has been officially presented to the public, in its final production form, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, for the first time.
The model in question is the company’s first ever hybrid supercar and it’s also the most powerful production vehicle put together by McLaren. The P1 has a 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 petrol burner under its hood, backed up by an in-house developed electric motor. The total output produced by this assembly stands at 903 HP and 978 Nm (722 lb-ft) of torque. The powertrain is mated to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission, which is sending power to the RWD. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes just 2.8 seconds and top speed stands at 350 km/h (217 mph).
