“Baby SLS” caught testing again image

Our spy photographers just can’t get enough of the upcoming SLC sportscar from Mercedes-Benz and have caught yet another batch of spy shots with it. As always, generic Mercedes keeps its cards close, remedy as almost every inch of the car is camouflaged.

Reportedly codenamed the C190, advice the prototype is still very camouflaged but appears to be heavily influenced by the SLS supercar – we have the sharp nose, the very long hood and the small back end. Notable styling highlights include the SLS style front fascia, conventional doors and a sporty rear end with a dual exhaust system.

The engine options remain unconfirmed but previous reports have indicated the model could be powered by a twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 that develops approximately 485 hp. There have also been rumours about a range-topping Black Series variant which could produce as much as 585 hp. The sports car is expected to be slotted for a 2015 launch and cost roughly around 110.000 Euros.
