The Briggs Automotive Company – better known as BAC – is famous for its single-seat Mono circuit-exclusive vehicle that has been around for quite some time – 2009.
To make sure people know it’s still relevant, the company has decided to organize a special event on the iconic Isle of Man. Serendipitously named “Mono Mania”, the event will unleash on the famed course up to 12 vehicles, with just 20 clients getting the perks of the roads of the Isle of Man, which have been closed to the general public, well, because of speed. This is not the only event seen this year – the company was also very successful with the frozen lakes of Sweden idea that took place in ice and snow conditions.
The Mono Mania kicks off May 11, 2017, at the Jurby Circuit, and will include four days of driving both on the road and track. Saturday, May 13, will see the cars get on closed roads prior to a private event at Castletown, and a run on the iconic TT Course – with co-founders Neill and Ian Briggs also present for the occasion. “When Ian and I first set about creating the Mono, we did so with the vision of sharing it with friends – giving them access to the purest driving experience in the world,” said Co-Founder Neill Briggs. “We work closely with the Isle of Man and are very excited to show everyone what this wonderful place has to offer.”
