A one-off 2013 Ford Shelby GT500 Cobra has recently found a new owner during the Barrett-Jackson auction, who had to pay 200,000 USD before being able to take his brand new ride home.
After telling you about the very first unit of the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray which was sold during the same Barrett-Jackson auction for a whopping 1.1 million USD, time has come to write about yet another impressive vehicle, which managed to find a new owner, during the same “event”. The 2013 Shelby GT500 Cobra in question is a one-off vehicle, which is paying tribute to Carroll Shelby. The muscle car has been sold for 200,000 USD.
According to the North American company, all proceeds from this sale will be donated to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. The one-off 2013 Ford Shelby GT500 Cobra is powered by a 662 HP engine, which is producing a total output of more than 850 HP. This has been achieved thanks to the 4.0 liter Whipple supercharger. The model in question is also coming with a wide-body kit which is contributing to the over-all looks of the model.
