The tuning specialist has decided to showcase its handy work done on the BMW M3 and M4 brethren, which have been the focus of a specifically tailored Comprehensive Performance Package.
Aftermarket specialists have always been keen on unleashing the full potential of the turbocharged straight-six engine residing inside the M3 and M4 cars and we’re actually not surprised B&B has managed to squeeze more oomph. The initial kit will set owners back 1, 798 euros and will decline the 3.0-liter to 490 horsepower, but of course anyone sensible enough will go for the second version that will cost €2,950 and deliver a trumping power stage of 540 hp. This is done thanks to modifications operated on the turbochargers, the installation of a higher-flow intake tract, and having larger exhaust downpipes, besides opting for a more efficient charge air cooler and revising the ECU’s mapping solutions.
Insane owners will also look to the stage 3 kit which comes with a mindboggling 580 hp and 553 pound-feet (750 Nm) of torque – which is enough for the M4 to reach 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 3.5 seconds. Then the model will sprint to 124 mph (200 km/h) in just 11.2 seconds and since the speed limiter has been axed the model will go to at least 205 mph (330 km/h. This final iteration also has a thermostatically-controlled supplementary oil cooler system for €1,495. To handle the power properly you’ll also need the €698 adjustable suspension kit and €398 lowering spring kit – or you can simply shell out €2,069 and opt for the fully-adjustable KW coilover suspension.
