The Chinese division of Audi has recently presented to the public the Audi Q3 Jinlong Yufeng theme during the 2012 Beijing Motor Show.
Besides the RS Q3 Concept, Audi has also unveiled the Q3 Jinlong Yufeng theme, during the same Chinese automotive event. According to the German based automaker, the Audi Q3 Jinlong Yufeng theme actually stands for “Golden Dragon in the Wind”, celebrating the Chinese Year of the Dragon. As you can see from the images posted below this article, the Audi Q3 Jinlong Yufeng is coming with a Liuli Yellow livery and the model also has a roof mounted with two kitesurfing boards.
“At Auto China 2012 in Beijing, Audi is presenting two themed vehicles based on the Q3 – the Q3 jinlong yufeng and the RS Q3 concept. Both cars interpret the character of the compact SUV, which will launch on the Chinese market this year, in a very special way – the one is recreationally oriented and rugged while the other was systematically designed for dynamic performance”, as the automaker is saying in its official press release.
The Audi Q3 Jinlong Yufeng is powered by the company’s 2.5 liter TFSI five-cylinder turbocharged engine with direct injection, which is developing a total output of 310 horsepower. The unit is mated to a seven-speed S tronic transmission, which is sending power to the Quattro all-wheel drive system, allowing the model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 250 km/h.
