The North American based automotive giant Chrysler Group LLC has officially presented to the public the Jeep Wrangler Dragon Design Concept, during the 2012 Beijing Motor Show.
After starting its life as a simple teaser earlier this month, the Jeep Wrangler Dragon Design Concept is once again placed into the spotlights, this time by the company revealing it at the Chinese automotive event. According to the car manufacturer, the Jeep Wrangler Dragon Design Concept, along with the Chrysler 300C Dragon Design Concept, have been developed in order to celebrate the brand’s return to China.
“Chrysler brand announces its return to the China market at the 2012 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition on the April 23, 2012. To commemorate this important occasion, Chrysler will unveil a Chrysler 300C design concept created specifically with Chinese elements in mind”, as the automaker is saying in its official press release. “Also tailored for China market, a Jeep Wrangler design concept – inspired by the Year of the Dragon – will showcase the opportunity for special editions that might be available for Chinese customers in the near future.”
The Jeep Wrangler Dragon Design Concept has a black exterior with bronze and gold trim details, LED lights, Mopar fuel filler flap, black leather on the seats with contrast stitching, the Chinese Dragon design embroidered and many other interesting features. The model is now sitting on 18-inch alloy wheels, painted in matte black, and power comes from the new 3.6 liter Pentastar V6 engine, producing 284 HP and 347 Nm of torque.
