The Japanese based automaker Toyota has recently pulled the wraps off its latest creations, aimed towards the Chinese auto market, the Yundong Shuangqing Hybrid and the Dear Qin hatchback and sedan, at the 2012 Beijing Motor Show.
According to the car manufacturer, the Toyota Dear Qin hatchback and sedan are previewing two new variants which will be launched in 2013. Even if the Yoyota Dear Qin hatchback and the Toyota Dear Qin sedan concept cars have been officially presented to the public, the company didn’t provide any details about them but a previous statement is saying that the automaker will develop a new global architecture for three front-wheel drive platforms.
Besides the sedan and hatchback versions of the Dear Qin, Toyota has also pulled the wraps off the Yundong Shuangqing, during the same 2012 Beijing Motor Show, which is actually a hybrid concept car. Toyota says that the Yundong Shuangqing will also preview a production vehicle, just like the Dear Qin concepts, and this model will become available in China only too. The vehicle’s hybrid system has been developed at the Toyota R&D Center in Changshu, China, and the model is expected to hit the local market in the nearby future.
