We have no clue whether this is an official model but one thing is for sure, the final production version will definitely debut at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, next month.
Following a lot of spy photos and videos which have ended up on the web over these past few months, the final production version of the Bentley Bentayga is now returning to our attention with the help of yet more images. These are showing a 1:18 scale model and it is coming from China, so telling you exactly whether this is the real deal is close to impossible at this point. It has maintained the traditional Bentley cues with the traditional double headlights and taillights similar to the ones found on the Flying Spur.
The first ever SUV made by Bentley seems to have some extensive chrome detailing too, along with a subtle roof mounted spoiler and a panoramic glass roof. The final production version of the luxury cruiser will be riding on the same platform as the second generation of the Audi Q7 and it will be making use of the 6.0 liter W12 engine, which will be brand new. This will be capable of sending a total of 608 HP (447 kW) and 900 Nm (663 lb-ft) of torque to the wheels. Rumor has it that a twin turbo V8 turbo diesel engine will also be added to the lineup, a novelty for the brand, while a plug-in hybrid version is believed to be added to the range in 2017. The final production version of the Bentley Bentayga will be unveiled at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, in mid-September.
