The vehicle has also received the muscular rear haunches, the front skid plate, the LED headlights, the B-shaped front fender vents, aluminum roof rails, a set of 20- to 22-inch wheels and several other goodies. The 2016 Bentley Bentayga is making use of a 6.0 liter twin turbo W12 engine, just like most reports were indicating. This unit is capable of producing a total output of 600 HP (447 kW) and it has a peak torque of 900 Nm (663 lb-ft) of torque, being connected to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Power is being sent to the four-wheel drive system which is allowing the luxury cruiser to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) before reaching a top speed of 187 mph (301 km/h).
The average fuel consumption isn’t going to ruin its future owners because this stands at 12.8 liters / 100 km (22.1 mpg UK) or 14 / 20 / 16 mpg in city / highway / combined, over-seas. The CO2 emissions will be stopping at 292 g/km. The Bentley Bentayga will be officially taken to the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show and more info on it will be announced then. The first deliveries of the SUV will begin next year but there is no word on its pricing at this time.
