The first official images and details with the Bentley Continental GT Speed have been recently released by the Volkswagen sub-brand, ahead of its debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
According to the car manufacturer, the newest model in Bentley’ lineup, the Continental GT Speed, will hit the market with large air intakes, a massive front grille painted in matte black and dark chrome tail pipes in the rear, along with the large 21-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero 275/35 tires. The Bentley Continental GT Speed will the most powerful version of the British Coupe and the luxurious vehicle will get an impressive engine.
The Bentley Continental GT Speed will be powered by a W12 unit, which will develop a total output of 616 horsepower and it will have a peak torque of 800 Nm, mated to an eight-speed ZF transmission. The Bentley Continental GT Speed can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in almost 4 seconds, before reaching an impressive top speed of 330 km/h. Fuel consumption has been improved by 12 percent thanks to a new intelligent control system. The Bentley Continental GT Speed will be officially presented to the public during the 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed, which will open its gates on the 29th of June.
