The Bentley Continental GT V8 S will be officially presented to the public during the 2014 NAIAS, in Detroit, as the carmaker has officially announced.
Originally unveiled back in September, during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, the Bentley Continental GT V8 S will be making its over-seas debut next week, at the 2014 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), in Detroit. The model in question represents a step up from the GT V8 in terms of performance and other features and it’s expected to become highly popular in its new market.
The Bentley Continental GT V8 S has been equipped with a 4.0 liter turbocharged V8 engine, which is developing a total output of 521 HP and 680 Nm (502 lb-ft) of torque, 27 HP and 20 Nm (15 lb-ft) than what the standard Continental GT V8 has to offer. The unit has been mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission which is sending power to the 20-inch wheels. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint takes 4.5 seconds and the Bentley Continental GT V8 S can reach a top speed of 309 km/h (192 mph). More details on it will probably be announced in Detroit.
