Bentley will be officially presenting the new Continental GT3-R this weekend, during the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed, in a premiere.
One of the hottest Bentley units ever produced, the Continental GT3-R, will be officially presented to the public during the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The model in question will enter a limited production of just 300 units and all of them will be hand built in Crewe, United Kingdom, and finished by the company’s motorsport department. All units of the Bentley Continental GT3-R will be finished in a Glacier White paint with two-tone green graphics, on its side profile, which will help differentiate it.
The brand new Bentley Continental GT3-R is based on the Continental GT3 race car and it is taking its power from a 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 engine, which is producing a total output of 580 HP (426 kW) and it has a peak torque of 700 Nm (516 lb-ft). The unit is connected to an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission with short gearing and it seems that the vehicle is weighing 100 kg less than the standard car. More details on the model in question will be announced during the British automotive event.
