The Bentley Continental GT3 racing car has been recently unveiled, during the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed, over the past weekend.
The brand new Bentley Continental GT3 has been previewed by a concept race car, unveiled back in September 2012, during the Paris Motor Show, and it was teased a few times for the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The model is coming with carbon fiber body panels, front splitter and rear wing, along with lightweight sills, fenders, bonnet and bumpers. The Bentley Continental GT3 is sitting on 18-inch OZ Racing wheels, wrapped in Pirelli PZero tires, 310 mm wide.
The interior of the racer has been stripped and fitted with a Sparco racing seat, with six-point safety harness, with a steel roll cage, a fire extinguisher and an on-board pneumatic jack system. The racer is 1,000 kg lighter than the standard car, at a total of less than 1,300 kg, and it’s powered by a 4.0 liter twin-turbocharged engine, which is producing a total output of 600 BHP.
