Bentley embraces nature with the Bentayga Falconry by Mulliner image

The British ultra-luxury automaker is well known for creating bespoke editions of its models and they are keen to uphold the tradition with the massive Bentayga SUV as well.

Anyone knows how hard it is to leave home for more than a few hours – on vacation or for business – and leave in someone else’s care your beloved pet falcon. You usually make amends by taking it to ride shotgun, the feeling of riding along a bird of prey being priceless. Wait, what? Back that up a little bit. Bentley is taking care of this… very common issue. Yeah, anyone around has a pet falcon. Which is why we’re thinking the Bentayga Falconry by Mulliner has reasons to remain a one-off – this situation is that common.

Anyways, for the very affluent Bentayga customer, Bentley’s bespoke division has prepared an on-board kit for getting your bird of prey pal inside – complete with removable perch and tether for the animal on the center console. The cabin also gets an inlaid desert scene of a saker falcon on the dashboard, with the panel being made out of 430 pieces of wood. In addition, two cork cabinets are placed on a moving tray in the cargo area, one with falconry accessories like a GPS bird track, binoculars, bird hood, and leather glove, the other complete with three metal flasks, cups, a blanket, and face cloths. In case you didn’t know, falconry is a form of hunting where trained birds of prey – hawk, eagle, or falcon – are the ones doing the game hunting.
