Bentley Flying Spur V8 S Black Edition is lighter than you think image

The British exotic manufacturer is on a roll – this is the third special edition in a couple of weeks – but we’re quite certain the intended customer base is not minding the extra care from Bentley.

As such, the Bentley Flying Spur V8 S Black Edition is here to add extra style to the already opulent limousine – and seeing it we remain certain this is by far a better choice than the odd Mulsanne for most of us. From the exterior’s standpoint, the Black Edition name is not entirely earned, the dark theme is of course obvious with the black hue, but the version can also be had in any of the other shade choices – and there are only light dark touches. For example we see tinted lights, gloss black trim on the windows, on the mirrors, radiator, headlight washer caps, and door-handle inserts. The seven-spoke 21-inch wheels also go for the night treatment.

The Black Edition earns its name inside – the seats are available with black center sections, mixed with red accent stripes on each side, but there’s also a three-spoke Sport Plus steering wheel and Piano Black veneers around the cabin. The Black Edition can also be had in the Mulliner Driving Specification – comes with diamond-quilted leather with contrasting stitching and 21-inch five-spoke wheels in either gloss black or dark tint shade. The limited series will be sold with the 4.0-liter biturbo V8 good for 521 horsepower (389 kilowatts) and 502 pound-feet (680 Newton-meters) of torque – AWD is standard, and propels the behemoth to 62 miles per hour (100 kilometers per hour) in 4.9 seconds, and has oomph to reach 190 mph (306 kph).
